You can do just about anything. Nail art, cake design, murals, design on clothing, beauty makeup, face makeup, and anything to do with tattoos, from covering tattoos to making surprisingly realistic temporary tattoos.
How does airbrush tattooing serve the television and film industry?
With airbrushing, you can create a tattoo design from scratch or from images you have received from productions. You first create the prop stencils and then use them to build a unique tattoo according to the request you have.

What is the difference between airbrush and transfer tattoos?
Airbrushing only lasts a few days. You have to create stencils with the images you received, which can sometimes take several hours. Depending on the images, some are easier to do and others take longer because of the bridges. Bridges are the pieces that connect the stencils together. Depending on the image, you may only need one stencil but sometimes 2 or 3 or more.
Transfers are also made from a drawing or image. The artist works it on Photoshop, sizes it and colors it, then prints it on a special paper that sticks to the skin. He covers the tattoo with a transparent film to protect it. Once you are ready, you can cut around the tattoo, choose where it will be added, remove the film that protects it and apply it to the skin with warm, wet cloths. A bit like when we were kids but much better. The tattoo normally takes place and stays for a day with minimal touch-ups, unless the actors have an action scene that requires a double application at lunch.
